Relations Between Stratification and Culture

Using a multiple-indicator multiple-cause model, Sobel uses the 1972-73 National Survey of Consumer Expenditures to isolate four patterns of spending on leisure activities and to identify the social and demographic characteristics of people exhibiting each pattern.
